The following are examples of client projects managed by Esteemed Events:
Novo Nordisk Canada: Developed a Social Marketing for Business strategy for this Danish pharmaceutical, the world leader in diabetes care. Esteemed Events ran a full day course for key Novo Nordisk leaders on the power of Corporate Social Responsibility. Novo Nordisk was provided with an audit of their own giving history, and that of their competitors. As part of that audit and in order to provide the strategy recommendations, Esteemed Events interviewed key stakeholders. A national CSR strategy, with a set of corporate giving guidelines, and key communications material for the web were provided. In addition, Esteemed Events created an online evaluation/application for funding tool.
Rogers Cup Tennis: As one of the premier events on the ATP Tour and the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, the Rogers Cup is a world class, premier sporting event. The men's and women's events, which rotate between Toronto and Montreal each year, attract the best tennis players in the world. Since 2006, Esteemed Events has been responsible for servicing, activating and assisting with the recruitment of key sponsors for the $17 Million Corporate Partnerships Team. Corporate sponsors managed to date have included: Rogers Communications, Rolex, State Farm Insurance, Mercedes Benz, UPS, Rexall, Corona, California Wines, and FIJI Water.
Muscular Dystrophy Canada: On the heels of the loss of the Jerry Lewis telethon, Esteemed Events was hired to develop a national signature event strategy for the organization. Key organizational assets and values were identified, the charity landscape analyzed, key stakeholders were interviewed, and a national event program was recommended.
Rogers Media: Developed a sponsorship strategy for PROFIT Magazine's event honouring the top 100 fastest growing companies in Canada – the PROFIT 100 -- and executed a series of awards luncheons across the country celebrating the PROFIT 100.
Houselink: This non-profit organization that provides supportive housing to people living with mental illness, hired Esteemed Events to perform an event audit on their signature property, Double Exposure, and determine how best to bring this previously third party managed event, in-house. A situation analysis, interviews with event stakeholders and previous event managers, and a facilitative session with the organization's leadership and clients was performed. Esteemed Events provided a set of recommendations on how best to move forward with this signature event to deal with limited organizational resources and third party event manager fatigue.
Tennis Canada: Designed, managed and executed a fundraising gala/official Rogers Cup player party “Aces Are Wild”. The event which occurred in 2003 and 2005, attracted over 700 guests -- including tennis greats Martina Navratilova, Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova -- raised $200K for Tennis Canada and was recognized by the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour as one of the best player parties on Tour.
St. Stephen’s Community House: Designed a sponsorship strategy for Global Divas, the signature charity gala and concert for this community based social service agency. Esteemed Events secured the first-ever presenting partner, Scotiabank, for the event. Managed the event committee and all key logistics for the 800 person event featuring Juno award winner Jane Bunnett accompanied by a bevvy of other diva songstresses at the Kool Haus in Toronto.
Association Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO): Esteemed Events was hired to rejuvenate the annual awards gala for ARIDO. "Space that Rocks" was designed to bring back the glamour and excitement of previous awards galas. The event was hosted by media personality Anne Mroczkowski, and attracted 800 guests at the Direct Energy Centre’s Heritage Court. Esteemed Events has managed subsequent awards shows for ARIDO at Heritage Court and the Liberty Grand.
Vanier Cup: Managed the annual Athlete Awards gala for 600 guests in Hamilton prior to the 2004 competition.
